I wish you could have been standing next to me the first time I took the podium as Artistic Director of Young Professionals Choral Collective. I’ll tell you a secret - I was nervous.
Before performing Building Bridges: Keep the Arts Alive, I had never led 120 singers through an original choral work while perched high on top of a bridge’s scaffolding. But in a time so often marked by distance, supporters like you helped the YPCC community come together to share live music in a creative and uplifting way. All year long, singing brought us closer and helped us navigate prolonged periods of uncertainty.
These connections will continue to be vital tomorrow, too. As YPCC looks to reinvigorate programs and partnerships post-pandemic, we need your support to set the stage.
Will you donate any amount to support the community-building power of music? Together, we can develop the exciting collaborations and ambitious choral performances that will bring Cincinnati’s young professionals together to connect, create, and share innovative music. But your financial support today is critical to YPCC’s future.
This year, YPCC’s creative programming reached more audience members than ever before. Free concerts delivered online, in-person, and via live radio signal brought thousands of viewers together at a time when we all missed the meaningful connections created by music. As we look forward to bolstering the in-depth arts partnerships and large-scale concerts of tomorrow, we’re relying, more than ever before, on the generosity of kind donors like you.
This is a crucial time for our beloved musical community. Right now, your voice - and your gift - will resonate loudly. A donation of any amount this spring will assist YPCC in continuing to make joyful, approachable, and quality choral music all across Cincinnati. Please consider a recurring monthly donation to ensure your support has a lasting impact on YPCC. Click here to make your gift today through our secure web portal.
With gratitude,
Danielle Cozart Steele
